Visitor information

This archive records visits for its owner: public connection IP, approximate city/region/country, visit time, browser, approximate device type and operating system, browser language, and referring website hostname. These records stay in the archive’s local SQLite database and are visible only to its administrator.

Visit records are retained for 90 days. The site uses a first-party, HTTP-only visitor cookie for repeat-visitor statistics and your hearts. Hearts are counted once per browser cookie per post; you can remove a heart by tapping it again. Clearing cookies resets your browser’s identity.

City lookup happens locally using a GeoIP database; visitor IPs are not sent to an external lookup service. Local/private IPs are not stored and have no city location. The admin page does not display IP addresses. No third-party analytics service is used. Device labels are inferred from browser reports and can be inaccurate; IP addresses may represent a router, proxy, or VPN, and their estimated city may be inaccurate or unavailable. The administrator can clear visit history at any time.

Favorites are saved in local storage on your browser and device. They are not shared with other visitors. Clearing browser data removes your favorites list. Google Cast uses Google’s official SDK to connect to a selected TV; the TV downloads only the media you choose from this archive. Casting does not transmit visitor records, admin credentials, or the page itself.
